The spark plugs may become dislodged from the cylinder heads. A loud popping noise can be heard and a subsequent misfire experienced. The threads on the spark plug ports in the cylinder head(s) can become stripped or missing when the spark plug is dislodged. The threads in cylinder heads may be replaced using “Lock-N-Stitch” aluminum inserts. Our technicians tell us thread replacement is performed when the vehicle is out of base warranty. Vehicles under base warranty receive a new cylinder head.

2013 Ford E-350 RecallsWheel Chair Lift Platform May Fall From Lift
On wheel chair lift equipped vehicles, the lifts have folding link arms that may have pivot holes that are too big, allowing the bearings to move out of position. This can result in the lift platform falling from the vehicle. Dealers will inspect the link arms for damage or for displaced bearings. The platform will be inspected for cracks, and any damaged parts will be replaced free of charge to resolve the concern.
For vehicles modified for use with wheel chairs, the wheel chair platform side plates may crack, resulting in the platform separating from the wheel chair lift. Dealers will replace any platform that has started cracking, and will install supplemental platform support bumpers free of charge to resolve the concern.
The folding link arms of the wheel chair lifts may have pivot holes that are too big, which could cause failure of the mounts of the wheel chair lift platform. The lift platform may fall out of the vehicle when the doors are opened. Dealers will inspect the link arms for damage or displaced bearings and inspect the platform for cracks. All parts that are suspect will be replaced free of charge to resolve the concern.
