On higher mileage vehicles, an engine misfire may develop and/or the Check Engine Light may illuminate due to a failed ignition coil. It is not uncommon to replace all the coils when the first one fails in order to prevent return trips to the repair shop.

My car was shaking and felt like it was going to shut off. The mechanic replaced both coils for a little over $300. Seems to be working fine.
My car seems like its loosing power whwn i press the gas and dies after idling for a min. My engine shakes like crazy too
