Ford E-350 Clunk Noise when Pulling Away from a Stop

(14 reports)

If the slip yoke in the driveshaft is binding, it can make a clunking noise when pulling away from a stop. The slip yoke will need to be lubricated.

I get a banging noise when I come to a stop and when I start up again. Once I reach a speed of 30 MPH or more it seems to stop. -
