C240 4-matic wagon. Clunking or knocking sound coming from rear when going over rough road surface or small bumps. Not noticeable at higher speeds.
When driving over bumps at low speeds, I hear a squeaking from under the car. Still has not been addresses. Any clues to the problem and cost of repair?
Same type of issue, even on flat roads, had cat checked, new brake pads, sway bar end links checked, still there, could it be from wrong brake pads just installed " did not turn rotors"... Driving me nuts.... Only on hot car after driven for a while
Asked our mechanic to check the sway bar joints and sure enough, they were broken and needed to be replaced. Car rides a bit smoother now they've been fixed.
