Mercedes-Benz C240 Knocking Noise Over Bumps Due to Worn Sway Bar Link Joints

The sway bar end link joints may wear and cause a knocking noise over bumps. Loose or warn links should be replaced to correct this type of noise.

noise in rear after riding over road ruts or bumps -
C240 4-matic wagon. Clunking or knocking sound coming from rear when going over rough road surface or small bumps. Not noticeable at higher speeds. -
Rear Knocking when going over bumps -
kocking in front of car when going over bumps. link for sway bar was broken and replaced. it solved the problem. -
Identical problem, -
suspension knocks when going over bumps. car has done it since I bought it at 120000 miles. -
Asked our mechanic to check the sway bar joints and sure enough, they were broken and needed to be replaced. Car rides a bit smoother now they've been fixed. -

When driving over bumps at low speeds, I hear a squeaking from under the car. Still has not been addresses. Any clues to the problem and cost of repair? -
