Windshield Washer Inop Due to Front Bumper Impact on Honda CR-V

Impact to the front bumper can cause the connector on the washer pump to come off and the windshield washers will not work. Depending upon the severity of the impact it could damage the washer motor and bottle.

Small impact to front RHS bumper resulted in windscreen washers not working - first thought it was the radiator. From previous reports looks like a new washer motor. It was a very slight impact.
2011 Honda CR-V 25,000 mi,
Had a front end collision and broke off the pump value . Had to replace the whole pump assembly.
I was first told I must have hit something and broke it, which I did not. Dealer replaced windshield washer mech. free of charge, since still under warranty.
2013 Honda CR-V 42,000 mi,
soft impact to under carriage on passenger side broke off pump. dealer refused to warranty.
2013 Honda CR-V 4,000 mi,
Small scratch on a right side of the fromt bumber caused windshield pump to be broken. Honda,move pump further from bumper
Slight bump on right front bumper and like magic the washer pump no longer works. It is connected but pump doesn't work. Not fixed yet because I am so aggravated about it.
Parking lot hit and run small front end collision caused pump to break. Pump and lower bumper cover will have to be replaced.
2011 Honda CR-V 65,000 mi,
Small impact on passenger front end and washer tank is leaking.

Got in a small collision where the bumper was barely damaged. The water pump completely broken.
