Verified

Impact to the front bumper can cause the connector on the washer pump to come off and the windshield washers will not work. Depending upon the severity of the impact it could damage the washer motor and bottle.

    Had a front end collision and broke off the pump value . Had to replace the whole pump assembly.

    I was first told I must have hit something and broke it, which I did not. Dealer replaced windshield washer mech. free of charge, since still under warranty.
