Chevrolet Beretta Problem Report

Chevrolet Beretta Steering rack can fail or leak

(9 reports)

The steering rack may develop a fluid leak or fail causing the steering to become hard to turn.

It started out by having a slow leak and I just keep adding fluid. Someone checked it for me and found a bad connection and/or hose. After that was fixed leaking almost stopped, I was only topping off reservoir about once every ten days to two weeks. Then it slowly got worse and eventually failed. I believe it is in the rack itself.I am still driving it but parking is a bear! -
