Honda CR-V Rear Trailing Arm Bushings Crack/Break and Need Replacement
The rear trailing arm bushings tend to crack and break requiring replacement of the bushings.
Experienced a rattling noise in the rear of the vehicle. - Visitor
Would hear noise from rear when hitting a bump. After inspecting drums I checked bushings to find trailing arm large bushing torn. Order replacement from Rockauto and installed myself. - mrmike1977

Bought this CR-V from original owner in 2007 (@ ~60K mi) and one of first diagnosis from mechanic was rear trailing arm bushings needed to be replace. Had them done in CA where I purchased the car and now, 100K mi later and in WI, need to have them replaced again. 2015 estimate from Appleton WI Honda Dealer is ~$870 per trailing arm...or about $1700 to do both. On a 16 year old vehicle. :( - Visitor

I was told I need the lower control arm bushing replaced "Compliance Bushing" - Visitor
Saw they were craked and I got them replaced... whole trailing arm, which is the best way to do it. It ensures the bushing is seated in the arm properly. - Visitor
Have had to replace all bushings, cv joint, drive shaft +++ - Visitor
Bad rear bushings. The body dropped 3 inches. Metal to metal contact.When all said and done it cost me $1260.00. Never a Honda again. Screw Consumer Reports! - Visitor
