Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! It sounds like you're wrestling with a stubborn ABS module gasket, and those can be clingy! A little heat might help soften the gasket—using a heat gun or even a hair dryer on low can loosen things up without damaging the electronics. If heat isn't doing the trick, carefully work a plastic trim tool or a thin putty knife around the edges to gently pry it off. Avoid using anything too sharp, as you don't want to gouge the surfaces or crack the module housing.
