Driver side window quit working same day wipers quit working

Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. Even if it seems like there must be a link between the two concerns - there are not. The window concern - hearing a motor operating but not working sounds like a failed window regulator in the driver's front door. Removal of the door panel is needed to inspect internally to see what the failure is. The wiper concern - sounds like a switch or motor concern; testing will be required to see what is going on there. Not much involved in that circuit - pretty simple - so testing should reveal the failure pretty easily.
