Mazda MPV PCV Valve May Crack and Create Vacuum Leak/Lean Fuel Mixture

The PCV valve can crack open and create a vacuum leak and lean fuel mixture, which can result in surging and/or engine misfires.

PCV valve had to be replaced when check engine light came on. -
No solution yet. still looking into the problem -
Engine light came on and the dealer is getting 2 codes. 1). intake shutter valve/timing issue I think..2). PCV Valve needs replaced. Total cost $377.20. I just had the coolent tempature computer card replaced over $700 of work. Yikes. -
my van would run like it was trying to flood or miss after taking to my dealer where we bought it they shop man said it was the pcv that had failed. a weak later and 1000 dollors later we got our car back outher than that we are happy with the van. -
