Looking at the supercharger it seems to died. my question is, is there a way to bypass the supercharger so the xterra will run. need it to get back and forth to work.

Last week my car would not start. I jiggled battery cables and got it to start. Went to an auto parts store and they installed a battery and tightened everything. Today it happened again. No lights, no electrical, nothing. I raised the hood and found the battery clamp down loose and checked the battery connectors for still being tight. I heard the door open alarm going off and started the car. Really hurting as this has 224,000 miles on it and my newer car is in the body shop for two weeks. Help!

I have a 03 Nissan xterra the motor is hard to find so is there another suv i can use the motor out of....thank you

Both airbags just didnt deploy they EXPLODED

What would cause loud metal clunk/grind in front driver side wheel area when punching accelerator at 40 mph. Mechanic said change spark plugs.

I have a 2003 Xterra with a manual transmission, and recently I started hearing a loud clicking noise from the rear and I can feel it in the shifter knob. It's at ransom times and only does it when it is in motion. When I accelerate it becomes more frequent. I've been told it's the rear differential, but I'm not a 100% sure on what it is. I don't want to dump a lot of money into this rear end on new parts if its a cheap simple fix.

my child has a 2003 Nissan xterra, we keep getting a front end alignment but it only last for a few miles resulting in a lot of damaged tires. Why won't the alignment hold and what should I ask the mechanic to check? It's not from potholes or curbs,

I have changed the battery cables, fuel filter, crankshaft sensor, injector cleaner and I am only running premium fuel. I dont know what to do next and I am curious what advice anyone has on this common problem with the Xterra.

replaced valve cover gaskets on xterra ---dropped valve cover screw into valve assembly---will it do any damage -if I leave it in there-

I have a 2003 Xterra that has a bent frame, still barely driveable and great mechanical condition. I bought another one and want to pull parts (sensors, window motors, etc) to use on the one I bought, which is not the creampuff that was wrecked. How do I find a cheap but good guy to pull parts (only) or also install them? The junkers will only give me $500 for the bent one. The interior, tires, engine, etc is top notch. Has 106,000 miles on it, but has been very well maintained and was trouble free. I need a "Shade Tree Mechanic", but don't know if they even exist anymore!

The battery seemed sluggish to start the vehicle in cold weather but it would start. Today, which is much warmer, it started up when I drove home from work. Was about to leave an hour later but vehicle would not start. Changed the battery out and still will not start.
