I am having a slight noise under acceleration ever since I had oil changed at a dealership. Thought maybe it was the gas tired all kinds even Prem. I had a truck once that did this and the only way it was happy was with plain 30w. That's why I want to change oil VIS but don't want to ruin my engine either,, Thanks Paul

Yesterday my car sat outdoor in the rain while I was work. Driving home I noticed when I made left turns the vehicle sounded like it was driving through a puddle. The sound came from the front passenger side of the vehicle. As the pavement was wet I attributed the noise to water on the road. However, the noise continued even when there was no noticeable water on the roadway beyond merely wet pavement.

The vehicle is still making the noise today. It is only when I turn left as far as I have noticed. Since it rained so much yesterday I thought maybe water was draining from somewhere but now I don't think that is the case since it all should have drained by now. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Can you go to longer change intervals with synthetic oils?

There doesn't appear to be a way to even check the fluids for the transmission.

I was in a fender bender and the taillight cracked. Other than that, I need a mandatory inspection. Eould like to know what's fair for and estimate.
