Chevrolet Corvette Driveability Problems Due to Internal Distributor Fault

An internal distributor fault could cause the Check Engine Light to illuminate, an engine misfire, or a stalling condition. Replacement of the distributor is commonly recommend to correct this concern.

Corvette quit at 65 MPH on Interstate 79. Car was running rough at higher RPM's prior to quitting. Distributer that was bad lasted 5,000 miles. I installed that opti. Replaced distributer at local GM dealer. $1200 plus dollars. -
