How to change a light bulb in the shift indicator

Remove the trim from around the shifter there you'll will find a plastic cover with 2 clips on each side ,place the shifter in neutral, use a small screw driver to pop these clips loose so the cover with slide up the shifter as far as possible , still not giving you much room to work, you will find the bulb there, pull it straight out no twisting ( 194 bulb ) it's very small and delicate you might be able to get it out with your fingers or use a pair of nose needle nose pliers , be very careful not to break it or you will have a real problem getting it out. Reverse the procedure and test.
