I am experiencing a high idle problem with my 1998 GMC Envoy (Jimmy). It idles between 1500 and 2000. It is throwing the P0102 code, mass air flow sensor. I changed the mass sensor with no change. I then cleaned the throttle body and change the idle control valve, still no change in idle.I checked for vacuum leaks and found none. Replaced the throttle position sensor and still no change. I replaced the upper and lower intake manifold gaskets and still no change. What could possibly be causing this high idle problem??
My truck started to overheat, someone told me I needed antifreeze so after adding antifreeze it started to leak from underneath on driver side of vehicle. Why is that? Will it affect me driving?
JUST STARTED,WENT TO THE STORE AND PARKED. CAME OUT STARTED IT AND WOULDN'T SHIFT PLAYED AROUND WITH IT AND GOT IT TO SHIFT. BROUGHT IT HOME AND PARKED. TRYED TO SHIFT IT OUT OF PARK AGAIN. SHIFT LEVER WOULD NOT SHIFT OUT OF PARK. DIDN'T TRY TO FORCE IT. IT IS A AUTOMATIC FLOOR SHIFT. OTHER GEARS SEEM TO BE WORKING FINE. JUST CAN'T GET IT OUT OF PARK. WAS TOLD IT COULD BE A SILONOID UNDER THE DASH AROUND THE BRAKE PEDDLE. (CAN'T FIND IT).
