Problem Description and Possible Solution
Front brake rotors can wear causing a pulsation felt in the brake pedal. Our technicians often recommend replacement of the front rotors and brake pads as the best option to correct this condition.

I had the same problem of pulsating brakes / brake pedal. I replaced the front rotors and went to ceramic brake pads to reduce the heat. I haven't had a problem since. I hope this idea though a little more expensive will help someone with the similar problem. I have decided if the problem returns I will go with a slotted / cross drilled rotor with the ceramic pads again.
heard the brakes grinding on drivers side, changed rotors and brakes and now have pulsing in pedal very hard to stop pedal is sometimes soft sometimes its hard. uneven wear on new rotor cannot figure out the problem, still not fixed
had this happen to me as well was just that i got ripped off at some auto place (b4 i found the one im at now) they said they did the rotors (being young and female and knowing anything about cars had no clue)anyways so my rotors went quite a while with wear and tear and was like i was in a rocking chair when on the brakes just had a friend do my brakes and rotors (for $120 with parts which i was more than happy with)and havent had a problem with them yet was one problem i didnt have to fix more than once :)
