I've been told it will take 11 hours of labor costs to replace the front oil pan gasket in my 2008 Ford Escape (V6). Is this typical? What takes 11 hours to do this repair?

I was rearended hit in the passenger rear, it doesnt look that bad but the toe guy says its prob totalled, waiting for the adjuster to assess it , just curious if the muffler is pushed up etween the body and tire and I could barley drive it to the side of the road, what is the chances it has frame damage? thanks
Rear view mirror came of the swival part. Can it be reattached or do I have to buy a new mirror. I tryed to push it back on,but it won't go. If it does it takes a lot of force and I don't want to break it.

I was driving home and a sign came up and the engine went dead and the sign was "stop car safely now" with a "yellow exclamation" on dashboard, never happened before, scared to drive on queensway in case this happens, was able to drive it slowly home as I was almost there
what additional parts besides new tranfer case is needed?
The noise seems to be under the dash on the drivers side. The car will still start.
Driving home tonight and the dash went dark. Shined my flashlight and everything was stuck. Got home, turned off car and now it won't turn back on. Prior to this, I would drive and everything on dash would drop to zero, including mpg while driving. This would last a few seconds and then "click" back on. Everything else in car works, headlights, interior lights, windshield wipers, ect
whenever I park my car or start my car, my rear window on my tailgate pops open. Very annoying issue.
Is it safe to drive? It's been OK for 2 days for short trips.
