Is there a certain technique to monitor sensors oc sensor,Catalyst sensors &Others to set themselves without driving 50+miles?

While my car is running and in gear its like im applying breaks and it wont move. What is causing that. I replaced calipers and bleed the breaks.

held for one day...do I only use antifreeze or is water ok

I stored this car for two years and installed a good battery to start it but I hooked the battery cables up backwards, i witnessed the "magic smoke" appear from the tcm, it kind of starts but doesnt stay running, can the tcm cause the rough and bad running? or did I smoke someting else also??

It's a rod vertical to the front strut with a ball knuckle thing has a rubber boot? Squeezes and kinda grind when driving

My 96 Intrepid is shutting down while driving it and it does this at any speed. I have replaced fuel filter, crank sensor and in the past had the wires leading to the coil pack repaired. I cleaned all contacts/prongs on the black block fuses in the control center located under the hood on the driver's side but it still shuts down and most often won't start again until it sits for 10 minutes or so. I am thinking it might be the PCM but would like some other ideas, as this part is quite costly. Any advice will be most welcome.

I OWN A DODGE INTREPID 96 I TOOK OFF IN MY CAR THE OTHER DAY FOR THE FIRST SIX TO SEVEN MILES THE TRANSMISSION SHIFT FINE WHEN I CAME TO A STOP THE TRANSMISSION DID NOT SHIFT DOWN PROPERLY IT SHIFTED STRAIGHT IN TO FIRST AND STAYED IN FIRST NO MATTER WHAT I DONE I CAN LET THE CAR COOL DOWN AND IT DOES THE SAME THING EVERY TIME. I THINK IT MIGHT BE THE MODULATOR VALVE BUT I'M NOT SURE IF YOU HAVE ANY IDEA PLEASE LET ME KNOW..UPDATE-- changed TCM, doing same thing & still no chk engine light coming on.

The car has a rough idle and runs rough in general. Don't have the money or time to start guessing what could be the problem. There is also a rattle upon exhilaration toward the mid back of car. It drives well other than the rough almost growl-ish idle.

i checked the fuel pump,timming belt,and the spark plugs.but the sparks plugs are not catching any fire to them. someone told me it's probaly the elctric sensor,but i don't know where the electric sensor is located on my car.can you please tell me where it's loacted.

Just replaced battery and positive terminal. Turn signals do not work most of the time. Everyonce inawhile it will work for a moment, then not again for the rest of the ride.

after I start engine I hear a continuous tick tick tick near bottom of the front end of the engine

I was pulling out of a parking lot and my car died. After a couple of tries it started back up but the check engine light stayed on. I drove less than a mile home, parked it for about an hour and when I started it the check engine light didn't come back on. I drove less than half a mile with no further problems.. I am being told that it is the fuel filter because it started back up. Please Help I am on a very fixed income, and can't afford unneeded repairs..
