I Crank It Up it's shut down. It will not restart. When I turn the key on I hear the fuel pump come on and work.
I have changed three senders on the carb but still the same
Sometimes the battery voltage will drop also and sometimes stalls too.
The new fuel pump doesnt pump any gas. truck runs if we put gas into carb.
Its a 92 dodge d-150 with a brand new 5.2 magnum. It runs perfect, and then after a while it cuts off. Thought it was the fuel filter or fuel pump due to the fact that we let it sit for two months while the engine was being rebuilt and installed. Already replaced fuel filter, and fuel pump relay. Before I go any further and replace the fuel pump I wanted to see if anyone had any ideas of what else this could be. Also for some reason the ac quit working (even the fan), but when I tried turning the ac on, then switch it off, the truck idles very low, and seems like it wants to cut off again. These issues could be a combination of different things, please let me know if you have any suggestions or ideas, Thanks!
Refilled it, brakes still spongy
Replaced the coil, plugs, plug wires, pick up coil, roto, and cap and still no FIRE looking for HELP
It stall after you brake somewhat hard in forward and the fuel gauge floats no codes fresh tune up
First started off as a clicking noise coming from Fuel pressure relay on the LH side under the hood. Check engine light wouldnt come on till clicking stopped. Then would fire up. Spit/sputtered/died (couple times) then started up and ran fine. Then cold weather came in..... the clicking noise wouldnt start for hours & even when the clicking would (finaly) start, it took hours to slow down to the point it killed the battery because tge ignition had to be turned on for the clicking. Replaced fuel pressure relay=nothing. Tried Innova scan tool, wont connect. Signals all point to PCM/ECM, but I had the thought it could be loose ground, blown fuse, or some other excuse in the wiring before the PCM/ECM.
I alredy did the toiming procedure. the codes I retrived was a bad ect, I replaced it but still code comes back on.
orgauges but have lights
I did an oil change and it started then the next day it wouldn't start it'll only turn over, I can't figure out the problem someone help me please
i have a 1992 Dodge Ram 150 5.2L V8, starts cold, runs, but when warms up, won't idle, and shuts off. only way to start is to hold throttle wide open. already changed throttle positioning sensor. Once it starts, it will not stay running once warm.
if THE GEAR ON THE CAMSHAFT IS COMPROMISED WOULD IT CAUSE THE ENGING TO "JUM" TIME AND BACKFIRE? OR WOULSD THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER CAUSE BACKFIRING IF IT WERE PARTIALLY BLOCKED
