blower motor resistor

Let me see now !!!GM has ben good to locate the resistor pack within reach,without too much other items to remove,for a quick fix! Look under the hood on the heater ac box housing,for a conector with several wires in the plug in or connector! After you take the connection loose look to see if there are 2 screws holding the resistor pack in the air box,remove the pack and if there are 3 or more coils within the pack you have found it! Look for burnt or broken coils or resistors ! good luck without a wiring diagram!you should see a blower motor in this area as well! good luck

under dash , it is located next to blower motor.

I have 3.8 series and the blower motor resister is under the glove box way at the back on the fire wall. I know this because i have to change mine too ! I have the resistor, but its very hard to get at unless you have a flexable rachet to get at the screws to remove the resister.
