Battery Light Due to Damaged Alternator Connector on Ford Crown Victoria

The battery light may illuminate on the instrument panel because the alternator wire harness connector is damaged. A new connector kit is available and should be installed to correct this concern.

Battery is fine, alternator is putting out correct voltage, battery light comes on and then go away when a certain RPM is reached
as soon as i did a tune up the battery light came on and it wont turn off.
Didn't come on right away when engine was started just a few minutes after
