Clunking Noise and/or Damaged AC Hose on Mercury Sable

Worn motor mounts can cause the motor to rise during acceleration, causing a clunking noise and possibly damaging the AC hoses. Damage to the AC hoses can cause a loss refrigerant resulting in no cold air from the AC. The motor mount will need to be replaced prior to repairing the damaged hose or the problem will continue.

Car vibrates when driven until it reaches about 35-40mph .. Have list coolant slowly.. Believe backing out of my driveway I may have backed over the concrete curb. I believe from what I have read here it could be cracked or broken motor mounts.

I have Worn Motor Mounts. Was told I need A/C compressor fixed. Not sure if the worn motor mount is the cause but it might be.
