lost key to vw 2002 jetta 1.8t how much would it cost to replace and is the dealer the only one who can cut the key

    I would only go to dealer. Your probably looking at 100 or more to replace. Call dealer for exact cost.

    nothing for $100 those day not for a laser cut key and programming key to car

    If you like u can also try Ebay if u lucky to get cheap remote key head and have a locksmith to cut& program
    By law is require to car manufacturer to give and option for customer to get keys so check Your local locksmith Cause dealer won t cut u other keys than his also last customer was quoted $249 2 remote flip key plus programming and towing of course and a day or 2 at dealership they take they time for their $
    AS always check all direction before make a decision but don t forget that Car locksmith can make key for any car BMW VW AUDI porsche Range Rover Maserati Saab Volvo i do it so look around for alternative solution price and time delivery
