I paid almost $7,000. Had it two weeks.. Fuel pump and replacement-$600.. Now it misses when it idles.. I think this entire car needs to be replaced.. Worst mistake ever.. I hate it. It is a money trap..
My car is grinding when I turn corners and a bit when I take off. It could be the CV axle, but I want to be sure before I order a new one. How would I check that to be sure? Tie Rods seem tight. Could it be another issue?
The car periodically will rev without power transfer to the wheels. This happens infrequently and without anything else being associated with the event. After stopping for a traffic light or when waiting to turn left, when I attempt to accelerate, the engine will rev without power transfer to the wheels. After a few seconds of reving the power is transferred to the wheels.
There is an on board message center in the car. The message periodically reads "service alarm system." what service, if any is required?
ruled out cv shaft i beleive its something to do with the traction control didnt know if a similar sound or situation presented itself to anyone else theres nothing obvious wrong next step is the dredded dealership at 70 bucks per hour

The check engine light has come on and off for about the last 10,000 miles; vehicle has 105,000 miles. Major tune-up has been done and car has been checked several times and codes reset only to have light appear again. Amount of fuel in tank does not seem to have any correlation to light. After last service am detecting a very strong gasoline odor but no evidence of leak. Service included a gasoline additive and last time I returned vehicle because of odor all gasoline was changed to clean out tank. Odor persists. Check engine light on again. Big puzzle.
I recently purchased this vehicle and the owner's manual does not show the location of this filter. I would like to replace it because I do not know if or when it has been replaced. When I use the climate control and the fan is on high there are particles that fly out the vents.

Where are the headlight fuse(s) located? Engine compartment? trunk? Cabin?
My passenger side low beam headlight went out I replaced both sides. Both worked for a short time then the passenger side failed again. My message reads "bulb dipped" ?
I must have not gotten the bulb back in the holder correctly because when I inspected the bulb it was smashed. Can a bulb "blow up"? It was working after I installed it and after 1 or 2 trips out it was destroyed! Now I only have drivers side again. I've tested the bulb I'm using to replace and it's good, but there's no power to the passenger side. The fuse is good because the drivers side works. Could it be in the light switch? How can there be power to only 1 headlight?
my volvo s60 t s had an erratic idle took it to volvo dealer and he diagnosed low air flow and he cleaned the etm its running great now but he said that if the fault returns it might need a new etm but how can that be when its running great with the clean surely if it was a faulty etm cleaning it would not solve the issue and would low air flow cause an erratic idle can any one help thanks
why does my alarm not sound when i arm or disarm it and i dont have a car menu to alter it thanks
