When I turn on the a/c it blows cool air but not like it use too. I had it charged last year and when I engage it I can hear the compressor click. Then I turn it off and I can hear it disengage. It is starting to get hot and I have the kids with me most of the time.
I have been told that the two parts are issued new as one permanent part....I do not believe this and wish to confirm that the flex pipe can be replaced to an existing cat.conv.

I was driving my car and it just killed after getting it to the house I could see water leaking out from underneath the car the car wont crank,So I just recently had a mechanic to look at it he says its the engine.I dont know much of anything about cars so my question is how can I be sure that its really my engine could you determine that even without the car cranked?
I H AVE A 1999 Volkswagon Jetta 2.0 GLE IT STARTS AND RUNS AND YOU CAN DRIVE IT ALITTLE WAYS THEN IT STARTS JERKING AND THEN IT DIES YO UHAVE TO WAIT ABOUT 20 MINUTES THEN IT WILL START AGAIN AND THE SAME THING.
only when steering, the car will suddenly pull hard to the right, as if someone has grabbed and turned the steering wheel
how do i diagnose the code?
Is it difficult to install a water pipe or should i have someone else do it for me.
I took my car to the auto shop I've been going to for a few years and got quoted the following prices (parts plus labor)
CV boot repair ~$300
Control Arm bushing ~550
These specific repairs aren't part of the general service list here so was wondering if anyone knows if these costs seem reasonable. thanks!
We can't find the reservoir for the fluid. It is not next to the firewall like everyone says it is. This is on a 1999 VW Jetta.
Each time my son puts water in the coolant container and begins to drive it, the temp light comes on and he has to stop and add more water less than 20 miles down the road. It tend to want run hot on him. What cound be the problem?
I recently unplugged the battery of my car and pluged them back on within a 10 minute interval, and now as soon as i turn the car aon, the engine shacks a lot but as i keep it on for a bit longer it starts to calm down. 10 minutes later, I shift from Park to Drive and start driving off, once I hit 3000RPM, the car stops moving but the engine keeps going. 5 seconds later, it kicks again and starts moving again. It repeats itself every 2 minutes. What could this be?

I have a 1999 VW Jetta 2.0L Engine. It overheats after running it for approximately 10 to 15 minutes.The fan (s) do not kick on at all. I have replaced the thermo switch as well as the module relay, but still it is overheating. Any and all help,suggestions are highly appreciated. Thank you and God bless.
