I have a 1991 VW Golf Cabriolet and my radiator fan is not switching off. It's drained the battery. I have replaced the relay but still not switching off. I left it a couple of days, jump started it and topped up the water, it ran fine for about 20 mins then the fan kicked in again- it's really loud like it's on overdrive or something and the only way to get it stopped it to take the relay out every time I stop the car. Any ideas?

I have an early 1991 Cabriolet (110K Miles) with a fuel tank leak, about 10 years ago I stopped driving due to leak. I live in Hawaii & and moving back to Ohio & plan on driving this car, will the 1990 recall cover the 91? Also do these things expire on a 20 year old car? Thanks

Well I have had this car for almost a year, im the 2nd owner. The car just died on me lastnite and wont start, theres no spark and the battery is fine, is there a way i can test the ignition module without taking it to a shop?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has had or is having this issue, the water flange on my 91 VW cabriolet keeps breaking. I've taking it to the machanic and he tells me there is nothing wrong with the car it runs fine he he can't understand why it keeps breaking. I have tried everything and I want to fix the car because there are no other major problems, but i have not been able to figure this out, any suggestions and help would be greatly appreciated.

I can pull my steering wheel up 1" what part broke or was replaced wrong. I'm the 4th owner on a 1991.(prior owner repair?)
