Mercedes-Benz GL550 Transmission May not Shift into Drive Due to Failed Selector Module

The transmission drive selector module may fail resulting in the loss of gear selection capability. This condition can leave the vehicle stranded, and will require replacement of the drive selector module.

Wont go into drive from time to time. Replaced the battery and it seems to have worked. -
Car stopped and would not move neither forward or backward. Turned Engine off and restarted and could moved it slowly to my home 2 miles away Had it towed to Mercedes and after days the came back and said that I needed To change the transmission. -
Warning message states car not in park when it is, then will not shift to drive or reverse. This happens then it work then it does'nt. -
It would not shift out of park, no lights came uo the dash. We had the Drive Selector Module replaced. -
