Problem Reports

The rear view mirror has appeared hazy and scratched for at least the past year or two. I assumed it was dusty or my car wash was not cleaning it properly. I just found that this is a common problem with my model and year car. I asked the dealer about replacement cost and they said it was about $1000. If this is a common problem with that particular model and year, I would think Lexus should replace it as a warranty recall item and not have their customers pay for their obvious shortcomings.

Inside rear view is very cloudy. I have been driving it like this for 1.5 years, not realizing it was a more common issue. I will have it replaced tomorrow during my oil maintenence.
