The sunroof may stop working for various different reasons. Our technicians tell us it is often better to replace the complete sunroof assembly than to try and repair the old one.

Sunroof stopped working. Does not open or close in any of the positions. Acts like motor may be bad or no power. Any recalls. Had other problems that GM was very slow to admit they had problems. Some were fuel pumps, inside chrome flaking off door handles, dash cracking and most expensive transfer case 4WD actuator and fact transmission inner gears can rub hole through casing.
