Dealer wants $450.00 to fix, by replacing the sensor. Can I just go to junk yard and replace the sensor. Where is the sensor location?

Service Stability Message comes on from time to time, I was told that it was the air ride shocks that needes to be replaced or the module. After reading about other 02 SLS problems that cause the message to apear it may infact be the Failed Steering Wheel Position Sensor fail, which also results in the service stability message being displayed.
When I further research and repair the problem i will keep you all advised. Thank youFlag ThisLike0 -

2001 cadillac sls: Cannot locate where the steering wheel position sensor in order to replace it. I have located the two relays for up and down, and in and out motion of the wheel, but do not know where to install the new sensor I bought. Can any one help with this?
