2002 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 47,500 mi,
(Convertible, not Z06) Car would disengage cruise control while driving. Service Activie Handeling, Service Vehicle Soon message appeared. Very infrequently at first then became very frequent (even if I have the Active Handeling turned off). Code C1287H Steering Position Sensor
2002 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 48,000 mi,
have active handling serviced soon. Shop advised that I may need a stearing position sensor. Drive car and see if message comes on again.
2001 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 50,000 mi,
Steering wheel message appears where mileage usually appears. Engine would idle but stops running when first gear is initialized. Towed to dealer. Cost $1100 for repair.
