Placed vehicle in park while running. Could not get it out of park. Had to manually overide using a pencil to get it out of park. Will now lock every time it is in park. Needs to be released manually

Second time this happen.Had a hard time shifting from park to drive. The dealer said that some one spilled
a drink over the shifter and shorted the electronics connected to the shifter.this is the second time this was fixed. This is a poor design. You could be in the rain, get in the truck and some how get the shifter wet.
Again bad design.People should complain so their can be a recall.
The shifter has to be replace again.what a piece of junk.
This van cost too much to fix, i spent 3000 dollars on this van.
