When I went to put my 2000 Saab 9-3 in reverse it made a loud, harsh clunking noise when I did so. Then when I put it in drive, on the dash, the light stayed on reverse even though I was in drive. Also, the check engine light came on. So I parked it and parked it to see if it would make that clunking noise when I put it now reverse gain and it did. Dash still said I was in reverse. When I turned the car off and turned it back on, it didn't happen again and everything was fine. Any ideas on what would be causing that?? When you plugged a code reader in, it didn't give any codes??

When I test drove it it seems I only have 2 gears and there is a lot of play in the shifter when its in gear. It doesn't go into reverse at all.

He changed all valves and hoses but still light comes on when engine is hot. Now clutch makes a whirring noise when clutch pedal depressed. Help!

I have no speedo, ABS light is on as is the ! warning light. I sent the ABS module for repair, put it in and nothing changed. I wonder if the unit was not fully repaired, though they claimed it was. I have another repaired module coming to swap out with my original and hope that one works!

Front drivers seat belt stuck and will not come out . Very p.o.ed at this along with all the other issues on this crap car.

The oil light goes on under 1200 RPMs while idling but, only when the car is warm. It also goes off in neutral. Is this most likely an oil sludge pick up screen/oil pan gunk problem?

it has a pin and goes up and down when the roof goes up and down and it covers the hydraulic parts on either side of the roof.

New sparks plus. New crank position sensor.computer replace. Fuel pump good and good precion. Fuse and relay good. The coil cassettes don't working. Another idea to fix that car. Thanks

When I get into my car and start to drive, many times within minutes the seat will suddenly start adjusting backwards in a stop and start motion. I push the button to bring the car back to the original position. A couple of minutes later, it happens again. Most of the time when I'm driving, I have to fight with it. I live in a very rainy climate. Could this be causing the malfunction, and have you got an easy repair suggestion?

I recently purchased this beautifully-maintained convertible having 116K on the odometer. The vehicle's only serious flaw is its lack of structural integrity manifasted by serious "cowl shake" experienced on all but smooth roads. I replaced all four shocks but have not felt any difference.

I feel a little hiccup in the engine from time to time but nothing more. What could this be? I have a rebuilt engine and turbo about 1.5 years old, new compressor and clutch so do not expect any issues.

my question is why is it that every website says that i have to get an additional o ring gasket for the water pump? where do the o-ring gaskets go and why do i need 3 of them? and another thing is do i put gasket sealant on the coolant tube. and how do u suggest i do a coolant flush on a turbo motor?
