Toyota MR2 Replace ignition key by 100,000 miles

By 100,000 miles the ignition key tends to wear out and should be replaced or it may not work as well in the door locks or ignition switch.
Replaced the ignition with a new ignition set with new keys -
My key was not turning, and all my spares did not work either. We changed the whole tumbler even though it was difficult and had to take off a lot of parts to remove the old one. The new one works great. -
