Cadillac DeVille The Fuel Pump May Fail Causing the Engine to Stall or Crank Over But Not Start

The fuel pump may fail causing the engine to stall and not restart. Our technicians recommend replacing the fuel filter every 30,000 miles to help prevent undue strain on the fuel pump.

Fuel pump failure. Estimated repair cost 900.00 -
engine stalled in middle on intersection, coasted into nearby parking lot, it cranks and has spark but won't start. Due to erratic fuel gauge, thought it was out of gasoline, but put couple gallons into it, and still would not start, even though it cranked great. Haven't fixed it yet, -
Replaced fuel pump. -
At this point we haven't resolved the fuel filter, or fuel pump problem -
changed the fuel pump and fuel filter and the car still wont start please someone tell me a better way -
Same issue, car was running fine, I did notice that it would hestitate once every 3 months but thought it was winter and a rough cold start idle. Then spring came and it just died. -
Ran out of gas because sensor fluctuations. Used a gas can (2gallon) four times and filled car up. Car wouldn't crank over, so speculation is either fuel filter of fuel pump. Hoping it's only the fuel filter lol -
When attempting to accelerate, car would feel as if it shutting down. Pulled over and car shut down. Attempted to start but only would crank. -
starts with starting spray -
if the fuel level gets to low, the fuel pump burns out. car will try to start, but won't turn over. -
