Recall for fuel leaks on Chrysler LHS

Dodge issued a recall for fuel leaks. Dealers will reinforce the fuel rail to prevent cracking and replace the O-ring seals on the fuel rail and fuel injectors.

Fuel line cracks at end where rubber is at the end.Gas fumes smell from both inside and outside the car. Turns out gas was spraying from this point. Question? Why make an entire fuel line metal and the last 5 inches rubber? My son was driving this ca, it could have caught fire.....then what would they have done?

Serious fuel leaks any time engine running. Chrysler says they won't pay for recall as it was performed once on this vehicle at 28,000 miles. So their recall fix lasted for 5,000 miles. Will have to repair at my expense I guess. Never look at buying another Chrysler product. Hope this doesn't catch on fire.
