Trunk Lid Won't Close Due to Trunk Pull Down Switch Failure on Cadillac Seville SLS

The trunk pull down switch may fail causing the trunk lid not to close completely. Our technicians tell us that the failed switch can be replaced without changing the complete pull down motor assembly.

Truck will not fully close.
Trunk would not latch. Replaced latch assembly
turck does not close completely
It started in cold weather (0F) but now it never closes all the way.
