Rough Idle and/or Engine Stalling Condition on Lincoln Mark VIII

In high dust areas, problems with the EGR system are common. The filter for the EGR solenoid may plug and cause the EGR to activate when it should not; this can cause the engine to stall. The dirty filter should be replaced to correct this concern.

when I driving my car at 40 to 70 miles per hours and it will just act as if the transmission is slipping and or the RPM go from 2RPM to 4RPM's just going but I still have power after and I can step on it and it will go hard and fast with no problem. Will someone tell me what's going on? I've tried changing TP Sensor and Idle Air Control Valve they didn't work! Help Help Stacey 404 492-2160.
