Bought new 4/05. Two years ago drivers door window started having problems going back up when the weather gets cold. Have to wait a few minutes, try the switch, watch window move a little, repeat until the window is all the way up.
And how about the cheap coolant entension pipe from the lower radiator hose to the water pump. I've replaced that because the original rusted out. "Cheap" comes to mind on this set up.
The oil pan is rusting out and will need to be replaced within a year (I predict).
Had to replace the catalytic converter. Luckily it was still covered by the emissions warranty. Took them over a week to find one (seems to have been a cronic problem).
Drivers side power window... First it was intermittent, then nothing. Motor worn out, weak I think . Because I took the door panel off and disassembled the motor, cleaned it and greased it but it's the brushes... poor contact and thus no movement. Need a new motor ! Damm.
My drivers side power window lowers with the switch when automatically pressed but if I allow it to completely lower to an open position I will not be able to raise the window again until I remove the switch from the door panel switch module on the drivers door skin. I then can remove and replace the wired module from the back side of that switch where the harness is attached and it seems to make a connection sometimes and the window will raise through trial and error and a lot of clicking. The window switch kind of physically snaps like it is obstucted when attempting to activate it also. Based on this I have a bad motor or a bad switch. However, it IS still a problem! Thank you
