Check Engine Light With EGR Fault on Jeep Commander

Problem Description and Possible Solution

EGR valve position sensor fault code(s) may be stored in the powertrain control module (PCM) resulting in illumination of the Check Engine Light. A PCM software upgrade is available which may correct this issue.

My check engine light comes on and then goes off for no apparent reason.
on take off lose power
Replacing EGR valve, will update to see if check engine light clears
Mine is off and on as well.
NOT FIXED YET, BUT CAN ANYONE GIVE ME MORE INFO ON THE SOFTWARE THAT MAY FIX THIS PROBLEM
