Suzuki Reno Check Engine Light Due to Slow Oxygen Sensor Response Time

(3 reports)

A Powertrain control module (PCM) software update as available to correct illumination of the Check Engine Light due to slow oxygen sensor response time.

Throws bank 1 slow response code for o2 sensor and 7 other codes. Replaced o2 sensor light stayed off for a week then reilluminates. Mechanic told me I probably need a PCM update and it would cost 89 dollars and take one hour. -
