PCM may misinterpret idle circuit data and cause high idle/CEL on Honda Element

On certain models the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) misinterprets idle circuit data and the vehicle can have a slightly higher idle when cold and cause the Check Engine light (MIL) to illuminate. A software update from Honda is required for this issue.
