Mercedes-Benz ML320 Problem Report
Mercedes-Benz ML320 Oil filter housing may develop oil leaks
I am leaking oil somewhere around the oil filter housing but can't see the exact source of the leak. Does anyone know where I can find a diagram of the parts and componants to fix this? - slu59
Not fixed, Leaking on driver side of vehicle behind the oil filter housing.I use Synthetic oil, (Mobil 1 )and feel this may have seeped pass the gaskets in that area. It has affected my serpentine belt which failed after only 2000 miles. Will post further report after succesful repairs. - sailingjoh
this is a serious issue. I've been told I have an oil leak, then no oil leak. Then power steering leak. I just don't know anymore; don't know who to believe. - kayday1
Had to put 4.5 quarts of oil in after I found that the oil filter cap wasn't on tight for some reason. Sprayed front of engine with break cleaner, then let the car run and the oil was coming from where the filter sits. - Visitor
