I changed the motor in a 3000gt the other motor started and ran just had a knock when it got warm. Replaced the motor and when u start it u have hold the accelerator to the floor to get it to started, then u have to hold it above 1500-2000 rpms to get it to run. It doesnt feel like it is creating any vacuum, and when u drive it, it feels like a pig very sluggish like it has no power. I have changed every sensor on the motor, including the IAC, and injectors. Mass air looks good on the scanner, What am I missing?
My 1991 Mitsubishi 3000gt Ls idles at 2200 rpm when in park, than the rpms drop when I shift into gear. when I took it for smog check the Tech said it would not pass with the rpms being so high that the normal idle should be around 750-800 rpm. what is the possible cause for the rpms being so high?
My radiator fans will only come on if I turn on the heater or ac. We replaced the outside temp switch and checked the fuses and they are still not comming on. What schould be checked now?
I have a 1991 mitsubishi 3000gt andWhen off, the car shift to all gears fine. When turned on, I cant shift into any gears at all. It feels as if the car has it locked. Someone help please!!
For the last three years the check engine light has been going on and off. When it first started coming on it would run rough then run fine when it went off. Now when the check engine light comes on it runs fine and rough when it goes off. I've had a diagnostic test done four times and it is not tripping any codes. Also the car is only doing this when it gets to running temperature. This car has always had scheduled maintenance done and has never been neglected. The mechanics are stumped as to why this is happening. Any ideas?
