I took my car to a private mechanic and he discover a module was not sending the electronic signal to turn the air on. To verify the module was the problem, we could squeeze this module with pliers and the air would kick on. We tested again wrapping the module with tape and reinserting, adding pressure for a short period, and the air ran OK. This seemed to work for me, replacing module soon.
