Have to raise rpm really high to go in reverse
wife shut it off went to start it just cranks over
Engine seems to heat up quickly
Will come on by itself every now and then but only on it's own and not very often.
They replaced water cap and flush, still continues, intermediately, when stationed for a while, now they say its the water pump housing need to be replaced I don't think they know what there doing
I used an oil filter from autozone that seemed to not really fit the filter tube snug.
I also used 5 quarts of 20-50 conventional oil and 1 quart of 15-40 oil for turbo engines.
At first it would not go into any gear we rebuilt the transmission and now won't go in reverse but will the other gears what could be the problem
My 1994 Mercedes-Benz E-320 Wagon suffers from rapid, long "Jounces" with every road dip. M-B mechanic I use says I need "ACCUMULATORS"? for $800! Can't I get and FIT adequate SHOCKS or STRUTS and SPRINGS? Please advise me. I'm REALLY CONFUSED and $$$ is a factor. Thanks, Carl.
In a collision with an on-coming car from the left-front, my L/F tire (wheel) was directly hit-- moving it almost to the wheel well. When any bumps or dips in the road are encountered, the sharp outer edge of the wheel well scrapes the tires outside tread/ sidewall. I've been told that I need a new "Upper Control Arm". Why can't this been re-straightened? Or can I get a used one from a wrecking yard? Amazingly, the alignment was not affected! I've been driving it like this for a year, but it's time to fix it. What might this cost? Does anyone have any advice? Sincerely, CARL ------
