2001 Mercedes-Benz CL600 QuestionsRefine by vehicle
having issues with multiple locking and opening areas to include
passenger door will not open from remote
and once locked it only will open from inside.
Trunk will not open from remote, inside switch, or key.
Sun roof will not open except very slowly and only a few inches at a time.
This started happening recently and all areas at once, can this be individual items or can result from one major component not functioning properly?
When oil is on normal level no leaking when driving , when stopped and tur of engine oil is back and leak through reservoir cap ( one with stick for measure level )
anybody know why car wont shift out of park? it starts up and sounds good.
S.R.S ALARM, CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, ACTIVE BODY CONTROL, E.S.P. ALARM, BRAKE ASSIST ALARM, SPEED DISTRONIC ALARM, A.B.S ALARM, CAR WILL NOT SHIFT FROM PARK TO DRIVE AND THE CAR IS RUNNING ROUGH.
Can the side rear view mirror glass alone be replaced and still retain it's auto-dimming feature? Thank You.

I would love to know if it is possible to make my CL600 computerless and bring it back to the 70-80's models, simple and no computers. My instrument cluster is like daily news bulletin! Every day one light comes on and the next goes of! Mechanically is perfect and there are so many false messages it is very annoying. Now I know as computer person, all manufacturers warnings tell you not to put your computer in the heat or moving it around as it might damage the HD. Now the car is always in motion and the engine is hot, so how can you have a functioning computers in such harsh environment? I need to get rid of the computers and have my vehicle wired like standard vehicle, is this possible and who should I be looking for to do this change?

It comes off and on and not consistant, no leaks, car is leveled and some time the indicator comes in Red Color and then in white color, it says 1 messege "take vehicle to shop". This moment I dont't have it maybe in 3 days..off and on!!
oil is pouring from the back of the engine....the mechanic is asking whether the "cap" over the oil cooler should be replaced with the oil cooler, but he's also concerned with the lack of oil in the coolant, and whether the oil cooler is really bad....he's always found the two mixed when an oil cooler is bad....any helpful suggestions or timesavers would be greatly appreciated...thanks
