Volvo S60 Mass Air Flow Sensor May Fail

The mass air flow (MAF) sensor may fail, resulting in drivability issues and/or illumination of the Check Engine Light.

I purchased the car in Dec. of 2011, from a dealer and after 3 mos. of purchase date things required replacement. Mass sensor, Map sensor, fuel pump (which recalled)...now the transmission!!!!! -
Haven't fixed the problem yet, but it has been cleaned repeatedly. -
turbo would not come in and car was sluggish, check engine light reported a fault in the A circuit, removed MAS and found it had come apart and parts where sitting in the intake -
