2006 Lexus LS430 QuestionsRefine by vehicle
from the left hand side of the engine. The mileage is 101000Km and is fully serviced by dealership.
shocks seem okay. sounds occur mostly over straight driving, sometimes on turns...no diff which direction. handles well enough. tires & alignment okay (both recent). clunking has been occurring from 2009 & becoming progressively more often.
Acts like it isn't getting gas?
When it died, the car's power steering went out but the stereo and interior electronics functioned fine. The car would start, but would hold idle and die again. Had it towed to a shop (not dealer) and they seem to be struggling with the repair. They seem to think there was a short that fried the alternator and fuel pump and they're struggling with reprograming the the fuel throttle sensor. Are these cars know to have electrical problems.
Thanks for you help
Light won't go out
AT THE SAME TIME THE CAR HAD AN UP AND DOWN VIBRATION WHICH IS SLOW AT LOW SPEED AND GETTING STRONGER AT HIGHER SPEED.
OTHERWISE ALL SYSTEMS ARE NORMAL.
CAN I DRIVE 80 MILES TO MY DEALER ?
I have already replaced it before in March, 2014. Lexus paid for part I paid labor. Flaw in system?
My mechanic seems upset that I found part online , now hes telling me that after installing part the unit neefs to be programmed is that true
What, if any components make up the Euro-tuned sports suspension? The car rides on the Lexus 18" rims.
I have the navigation system with the Mark Levinson stereo. The volume control on the center console works fine. The steering column control button will change from AM to FM to CD etc. It will not control the volume at all.
No problem as yet, just anticipating brake rotor and pad replacement.
light shows low tire pressure. I've inflated tires but light won't go off
Recently a warning light and the Check PCS message came up.(Pre-Collision System)How do I check and repair this. My OBD ll meter did not show any codes. Only "linking error" A day later I tried to turn on my cruise control I t did not work. I guess these two problems are related. Where do I start to diagnoise?.
