alternator fuse keeps blowing in 1992 jeep Cherokee Laredo after being jump started

after being jump started

I have about 21/2 to 3 inches of play that has developed in the gearbox. Is this adjustable or do I need to just replace it. Going down the road above 60 mph the front end will vibrate violently and I must come almost to a complete stop for it to quit.

I bought a 92' straight six 4.0 Jeep Cherokee. I thought I was getting a good deal but may have ended up with a headache. After a month of driving it, my thermostate gasget cracked causing me to lose coolant. I replaced the gasget, theromastate, and added more coolant. Later started having heating problems at the start of summer. I added water in to the cooling system thinking this would help. Than took out the thermostate to check for problems. I was told I could leave it out as long as the weather isn't cold. And the past few weeks when I get off it is cool but not cold. Now I have a chirping noise underneath my hood and I am figuring it is coming from my serpentian belt. But don't know if it is a pully, belt, pump or what acting up. Can anyone help?

changed coil and crank sencer made sure it was on top dead center and the rotoer was in right place

MY head gasket for my Jeep Cherokee Laredo, 6 inline cyll. engine blew on the water intake side as I was driving. Engine started rattling and shaking, power steering went out, acceleration ceased, engine cut off and smoke started coming out everywhere. When I pulled over, oil was sputtering out of my dipstick area and the bottom of my engine block. A friend told me my gasket blew and water got in my engine and oil can, causing oil to run everwhere except the lower half of the engine, where the water is now. The bearings started to corrode with the water and became oval-shaped instead of circular, and when the shaft spun it caused knocking and shaking. Is this accurate-sounding? If so, what should I do, and how much would it cost me??? Thanks in advance!
